Due to the lack of turn out at our 2021 Annual Membership Meeting due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic WisCOSH has scheduled a Special Election Meeting to take place prior to the start of our June 2022 Board of Directors meeting. WisCOSH‘s Board of Directors in made up from WisCOSH‘s membership. Any member – whether individual, union local or affiliate – in good standing is eligible to be elected to office. To be in good standing dues must be current at the start of the election meeting.
This meeting will take place on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at the WisCOSH Office in the AFSCME DISTRICT COUNCIL 32 located at 3427 W. St. Paul Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53208.
Individual and union local members are able and encouraged to nominate or be nominated, elected and hold office on WisCOSH‘s Board of Directors. While affiliate members are not eligible to nominate or vote for members to be elected their staff and/or executive board may be nominated and elected to office.
At this Special Election Meeting nominations will be taken for the following open positions:
- 1st Vice President (2yr term)
- 3rd Vice President (2yr term)
- Treasurer (2yr term)
- At-Large Director (5 2yr term positions; 2 1yr remaining in the term)
You do not need to be present at the meeting to be nominated or elected to office but we must have a verified acceptance of your nomination and intent to serve if elected.
